Heating is well and truly on this morning.
I was out before 7am walking the dog, Didn't really feel that cold3c here and 22c in the house (the log burner has been doing it's job overnight).
Got to go out shortly to replace a drive belt on a ride on mower, and not looking forward to it
Be taking the motorbike out for a ride to the local cafe for breakfast a bit later on this morning

Woke up and our bedroom, a converted bungalow attic, currently sitting at 13.1 c. Ouside it's 2c,Northern Ireland. I might have to start putting the heating on in the mornings.

I should not have opened my mouth. the heating came on this morning for the 1st time since end of march. dunno why as it doesn't seem that cold. am tempted to lower the thermostat bit chances are the wife would notice.
only plus point is over the last 6 months we have built up an £850 buffer on my octopus account so should see out the winter even with car charging I hope

Edit - mine might be on today... 16oC in house (14.5 in bedroom). I'll leave the kitchen door open as it's quite sunny. This heats the living room up as the garden is South facing and the heat generated through the patio doors is quite intense to be fair...

Woke up and stuck my electric fire on this morning. I went back to sleep and while I was asleep someone stuck the heating on. I’ve woken up in a bloody oven!
