Please let it be true!

June was hot, then the rest of the Summer was unusually cool/damp, but I'm still hoping for a cold winter because the last 'proper' ones we had were 2009/10 and 2010/11. Early 2018 to a lesser extent with the Beast from the East. My favourite time of the year though is Autumn (late September onwards).

Yes I wore a coat @chrcoluk and no I don't live in Scotland @sigma - I have just come back from one of my homes in the Med where it's 36C. I had acclimatised to it, and coming back to the uk where it's under 20C was a bit of a shock. By example we run the AC at home (in Cyprus) at 26C. So coming back to the UK when it's under 20C feels VERY cold.

Yesterday I had to go to town and it was 16C. So yes I needed a coat!
I asked as you said it was 10C and when I checked midlands temps they were around 20C.

I wonder how much of a pattern there is that those who get cold easy tend to also go to hot countries. 16c is t-shirt weather for me. :) Guessing then after a couple of weeks the shock wears off and you acclimatise back to the UK?

Anything over 20c I could go out with no top on at all, but stick one on and sweat so no one has to look at my body lol.

Ah sorry I meant 10c at night. During the day when I got back it was 16c which is a shock when you're used to 30+!

I'll acclimatise back to the cold weather, but I far prefer being warm to being cold. I mean 16c isn't cold per se, but unless I'm at the gym or doing sports you won't find me in shorts! :D
