Quarter of a billion loss in a year will do that. They have lost 470+ million Euros in two years, they are in a mess.

The better than nothing argument is a terrible one Rob. Chelsea spent how much in the summer, I'd argue they'd have been better off spending nothing.

It's TalkSport so it's almost certainly made up bs anyway but the type of player he is, is not what we need and would not solve any of our problems. And I don't dislike Neves, I think he's a decent player and as a Thiago lite or future squad player to replace a Thiago then he could be a useful signing but he's not changing our fortunes around this season.
 
The whole neves thing is/was being peddled by the same numpties on twitter that are claiming we've been bought by some Oil guys and we're just waiting on the paperwork passing pl checks, it's ****** of the highest order.

Edit - just seen James Pearce of the Athletic say we haven't held any talks about ending sold to qataries, probably means news will break today that we have actually been sold :cry:
