Rumours circulating of Bellingham to Madrid, if its true and big if I'm not surprised.

Said it all along I would have been very surprised if we got him as I don't see us paying the fee required ontop of still need other midfielders too.

100m on him then still needing least another 2 midfielders alone, FSG won't spend that
If its only 100m then I dont see why we couldnt go in for him, theres been rumours of us stumping up 70-80m for a midfielder anyway, you'd think that if we are going to whack out 80m on a midfielder we could have done the extra 20 for Bellingham. Its not an enormous difference between 80 and 100 after all. 80 and 130-150 yes, big difference but 80 up to 100 isnt a huge jump.

Milner close to Brighton according to sky sports
That will be a real shame, I get that he maybe isnt in the best situation to be getting playing time but he has an massive amount to offer as a coach, particular to a youth/reserve team. I had really hoped that if he was going to not be playing for us that he might move into the staff instead and stay.

I imagine its more then 100 but we dont know the rest of the demands, you could be talking silly money in wages etc.

a good video on how Leicester came to be struggling so much with finances etc. It explains why they need to sell Maddison irrespective of whether they stay up or not. Not selling Tielemans was a bad move. And unsurprisingly to anyone but Bodgers buying Vestegaard and Bertrand was a donkey move contrary to the club's business plan.

Ok 3 then, point still stands, I think it's a little early to make claims of a long term transfer strategy. Gordon was definitely bought at an inflated price too!
Well forest paid for him hah we where quoted 60 was it at the start!

It’s not just that. We walked away from multiple deals that we have seen as extremely inflated but still have an interest in. Diaby and Madders off the top of my head. Both deals probably would have got done if we had met the asking price.

The club has also been very vocal on their transfer policy.

3 windows.

Botman and Gordon

Reused to pay the inflated price.

Played the waiting game pick them up at the price we were comfortable with.
You didn't pick Gordon up for a comfortable price. No one else wanted him. Chelsea were prepared to pay a mental price, you were slightly less mental for a player that scored 3 goals. You won a bidding war against no one. Don't get me wrong Newcastle are doing superb but there's fewer more inflated prices than Gordon to Newcastle. Richarlison was expensive but at least he was doing it in a poor team and in the national side.

What was your opinion of him when he played for you? I've watched him multiple times for Barca and didn't turn up in Quite a few games. Can't say it would excite me signing him, have the same feeling about it as the Gordon transfer.

He entertains which is something you don't see nowadays, so instantly became a cult hero, he did keep us up at the end too. He might not have got the numbers at Leeds but everything went through him. I'm surprised at his numbers for Barca as I thought around great players he'd excel.

So who are arsenal signing this summer?

Rice
Mount
Zaha
Guehi

Rice looks more and more likely to be heading our way, his best mate mount is looking likely to leave chelsea.

Both to arsenal?

We definitely need another cb a central midfielder and a striker i still say we should be going for ivan toney
