Just let him put some Barcelona clauses in there. Everyone apart from Rashford knows they won't be worth the ink they are written in but it might make it easier to do the deal.

After the current round of games we could be within 5 points of them so I would say that broadly, yes we are at the moment.
 
Yet another disappointing window. It's clear we're lacking a striker, Watkins was never going to leave so think it's another one for show. League is gone but it could go a long way to helping us progress in the champs league.
 
So Arsenal are gonna let the window close with no signing.

I don't want Watkins anyway, at 29 he's too old and isn't the elite tier striker I want us to sign.

I would be excited with Vlahovic, Sesko, Gyokeres, Osimhen...

Someone like that.

We don't need elite. We just need someone who doesn't miss sitters every single game, Havertz is not good enough in goal scoring or general play (who'd have thought that eh?). Cunha, Kluivert, Duran would do, possibly someone like Kudos to cover up front and right wing. There are some many options better than what we have and we bid for someone who's never going to leave, we've seen this before and it's infuriating. We have a very real chance of progressing far in the champs league and we've done nothing to help.
