Witcher 3

I believe it's around here, I think! (crudely marked this map with a photo editing app on my phone as I'm not at my ps4 or a pc :p)

Thanks mate, really appreciate it. I have sniffed around that area so considering I'm just level 7 I'm restarting. Hope it or something similar doesn't happen again.

Thanks again, add me as a mate on PSN if ya like :)

QUOTE=Soulja;28077182]I just got this given as a gift. I hope it's better than dragon age: inquisition as I found it really boring.[/QUOTE]

The two games are in a totally different league. It's a bit like saying "I didn't enjoy The Crew so I don't think I'll enjoy Forza Horizon 2". The Witcher 3 is what Dragon Age: Inquisition could have been had Bioware spent maybe another year on it.

Are any of you guys getting lost in the game? I'm trying to find the witches in a bog but when I select quest no marker comes up, is this normal?

There's a book in the quest section of your inventory that you need to read. Then you get a marker telling you where to go.

Anybody else noticed the gameplay timer in player stats keeps going whilst your system is on standby? Mine shows 19 hours which is about 12 hours ahead of what I have played. If you are bothered about tracking that, I suggest closing the game before suspending the PS4.

It is yeah. Those quests start when you enter velen after white Orchard.

Ah cool cheers will look out for those , gone back to white orchard for now to explore all the question marks :)

Anyone got to the one up near the Nilfgaardian garrison? It's in the water but there's downers swimming near it so I Darent go get the loot as I'll get my ass handed to me haha

If drowners are swimming.. heres a tip : use your crossbow, as when they're swimming in the water they die in one hit IIRC. :D i had to do a mini quest involving killing swimming drowners.

anyone having problems with fights?

use queen first, then doge don't roll...use igni or that agni hehe.

fights are quite easy, killed griffin easily on 1st fight even.

I'm not having too many problems fighting thus far, unless I get cocky and dive in to a bunch of enemies a few levels higher. If you get swarmed, you're toast.

Aye, if you play it like you play dynasty warriors, forget it. :D

a little tactics, and watching your opponent to see his or hers moves/weaknesses is the best way to fight. well, its worked for me so far! :p

i like using a mix of Quen (the exploding perks works great) and Igni.

I must be doing something wrong, I'm finding the combat in this more difficult than Bloodborne.

I'm fighting the botchling and I'm not doing much damage at all and one hit from takes a quarter of my health. I'm using the silver sword but I might aswell be using a toothpick.

Also noticed that sometimes when I do an attack, I damage my own health.

Edit: Got no time for this, sold the game now.

Really? The combat is not nearly as difficult as the souls games in terms of patience, timing etc. Only if you are fighting something well above your level, or if you get surrounded by enemies, is it really hard?

Try dodging 6 wraiths each teleporting to you separate times on hard mode

WOW. You're really going to miss out if you've sold it already.
