Witcher 3

Had a blast tonight, noticed that there seems to be some serious lag on NPCs, objects, textures ... well most things appearing when you fast travel into Novigrad, I was having to stand around waiting for everything to 'pop in' for a good 30 seconds or so. Wasn't doing that pre patch, maybe my game session was borked somehow.

I noticed that happening after the first patch. Running around Novigrad especially, I'd have to stand next to quest NPCs for 10 seconds or so before they'd become interactive.

Sometimes I'd be legging it around the place and run into a building, except even the door texture hadn't loaded, and I'd have to wait for everything to finish popping in once inside.

Didn't bother me too much, tbh.

Anyway... I just finished the main storyline at ~ level 34. Got the bad ending. Ragin'.

Loving this game. Only level 13 but can't put it down. I say I do a quest or 2 for an hour and about 3 passes lol

Love reading some of the notes on the notice boards, some are pretty funny. Even though its done by Polish developers it has a lot of British sense of humour.

Are these notes quests of some sort as I notice you can take them as well from the notice boards?

I thought this aswell, considering they are Polish, they have a great sense of English humour!

How easy is it to just pick up better armour/weapons? Is it worth investing in crafting it? I swear the new patch makes it harder to earn money...

Crafting armour is very cheap as things like a sword worth over 1000 gold is only a few hundred at most to craft. Buying Things like armour and swords is just far too expensive for anything good.

I have about 6 swords that would cost over 30k if I bought them from vendors and I found them all. If you want to get some good armour and weapons I would go look for hidden treasure and smugglers caches. If you have got to skellege already there are so many between islands its insane.

I just got the best saddlebags (160 weight total) by winning some races then about 30 minutes later found some in a loot chest on an island.

finding Armour isn't to hard, Find hidden treasure sites, or hidden stashes in the waters around Novigrad, Also there are Treasure quests for Armour if your of a high enough level.

Excellent - playing on the second highest difficulty so trying to get myself better equipped while my level is still low. Just trying to avoid crafting such low level stuff as Im still in White Orchard

To get the Family Counselor trophy (Find the baron's wife and daughter.) you have to finish the quest ladies in the wood and then go back to the baron with new of his wifes whereabouts?

Hi

How many items can geralt carry, I'm randomly collecting herbs and looting and it had me thinking if there is a limit?

Cheers

I don't think there is a numerical limit but you have a weight limit. Herbs and potions weight pretty much nothing though. I did find that the tabs loaded a bit slowly as you switched between them once you had lots of items.

Honestly, the inventory system is absolutely ****.
