Witcher 3

What trouble are you having? Not levelling fast enough or too far?

I found the first 10 levels took ages, but after that it went really quickly. The main quests give you loads of XP.

Not fast enough, I'm trying to do some of the witches contracts but well under level. Just annoying that killing wolves etc doesn't give you any xp at all, so no point in even doing it.

Do some of the main quests and you'll level up quicker, then you can go about clearing contracts and side quests for a bit, before needing to do a few more main quests. That's how I did it.

Dose anyone know the EXACT location of the Alchemy ingredient ALBEDO??

I have already done the quest for the Gremist and he dose not sell the recipe for it (although some folks on forums say he dose).

I have seen a few forums but they all seem to contradict each other.

Can any one help in regards to its location?

Need it to level up my Ursine sword :(

Have they increased the level of armour and weapons?
I collected all the griffin school gear diagrams, went to craft them and it says level 11 required.
Everywhere i searched shows it at level 7 for the weapons and 11 for the armour.

here for example:

Yep they upped it as of patch 1.07 - you need to laugh at the patch notes of 1.08 to see how they will remedy this (trust me its one of the most backwards solutions possible)

• In patch 1.07, the level requirements for certain items were scaled up, leaving some players stuck with only unusable gear. With patch 1.08, we are introducing the Wolven Hour potion. This potion will be available in everyone's inventory once they install the patch. It will reduce level requirements on all gear for a period of one hour. This will give players time to level up or find alternative equipment using the gear that was available to them in patch 1.05 but became unusable after patch 1.07. After one hour, the potion's effects will cease and the requirements for all gear will revert to their original, pre-potion values.

I fell hard in to that trap. Spent a good few hours finding all of the Griffin diagrams up to Enhanced only to find I couldn't use it afterwards. Very annoying. I like to keep my inventory clean and I spent pretty much all of my gold sorting out Enhanced Griffin gear, so I had to take on some bandits without any weapons and while wearing just a loin cloth to get some equipment.

Was a fun fight though. Made me glad I'd levelled Igni to max.

I've found gold a bit pointless, Im level 23 with over 42000. I just don't need to buy anything other than gwent cards and repairs :/. Playing on Death March, even my food supply is fine, i have 176 waters, and more beer, spirits and food then i know what to do with

Really getting into it now, just done the Crones questline and thought it was brilliant.
I feel compelled to do the side quests even though they are below me sometimes.

The DLCs added the Temerian/Redanian and Nilfgaardian (excuse the spelling :p) armour sets - think one is level 5 and the other is level 10 - expensive but have useful buffs against non-human opponents like the witcher sets.

Get one at White Orchard from the merchant you help right at the start of the game while the other one can be bought at Crows Perch from the trader to the left of the armourers.
