Wolfenstein: The New Order

Afternoon All,

Any suggestions/recommendations where to purchase a copy from?

I've looked at the links in the previous replies to this question, but they all appear to be out of stock.

Thanks & Regards

I'd say get a hard copy from Amazon mate, I got mine for £27 and it came with an awesome seperate CD which has all the German covers of the songs you hear in the game. Not sure whether that was a preorder bonus or not, I know the Doom Beta code was. Saying that I didn't actually preorder it, I brought it on release day... But yeah Amazon :P

Sprint key jump in a left direction so as drift in front of the guys handing up.. if you go ahead and right.. you're off.
Tried that but I still can't jump out of the window, this is annoying now as i can't continue the game.
For anyone who didn't see my post I'm at the end of the prologue where I have to touch the wires to short out the window bars which then slide up, I'm then supposed to escape through the window with the other two guys but it won't trigger the cutscene. Do I have to actually climb into the alcove or what?

One thing I don't understand ...

Played a bit with afterburner open, see how well it runs for me. The framerate is hard capped to 60fps right?

When I run with vsync enabled, I get a steady 60fps on ultra (i7-2700k at stock, single r9-290 gaming edition). When I get run with it disabled I get a steady 60fps but with screen tearing?

So what gives? Surely it shouldn't matter?

hahaha dont forget guys in your base there is a little game of castle wolfenstein the original game HAHAHAHA hilarious. you have to hit the dartboard with your knifes then run over to the bed and have a nightmare :D

i found it by accident dam this game is awesome hahaha.

YES!, climb into the alcove and run to end and jump.

I agree like others the very 1st slide you do in game is not easy at 1st with bendy small fingers needed due to the keys you need to press.

That first slide was annoying - out of nowhere in the middle of a fast paced bit of action you suddenly have to mess around with a random set of key presses that you'll probably rarely use again :| and if you don't do it within a few seconds you die (not played more than an hour of the game so far).

Wish they'd stuck purely to the normal FPS controls without too many combination actions.

With vsync enabled the next update only starts drawing when the last one has finished - so you always get 1 complete picture on the screen at a time.

With a FPS limiter even at 60fps it will still start drawing the next image when ready as long as the rate doesn't exceed 60fps so it might start drawing the next image in the middle of the screen before completing the last hence the tearing.
