Wolfenstein: The New Order

ok, so I picked this game up cheap in the steam sale and didn't really thinking about it running on the ****** tech5 engine.
Unfortunately it suffers from the same slow loading texture problems as Rage, which I just cannot play.
Just wondering if there has been any fix for this problem or any ways to improve it? Otherwise, like Rage its gonna have to go.
Anyone?

Played it without problems, no texture issues at all.
If you don't play it simply for non existent issues then only you will miss out.

non existent issues??
Listen pal, just because YOU don't have issues with a game running on your system, doesn't mean it runs flawlessly on all systems.
There are plenty of people who have had issues with textures in this game and other id tech5 games.
Really have you got nothing better to do with your time than make useless, aggravating post in threads?
Get a life.

I would love to enjoy this game too.
The texture issue is a game breaker for me and I would love it if there was some way to fix or even improve the problem.
When the only response I get is an idiotic post like that, how am I supposed to respond?

so you've had these non existent texture problems too then?

Textures aren't great in the game, and I saw texture pop up a lot, it didn't bother me. Like I have already said, texture issues like that don't impact the enjoyment of a game at all for me. Unless they are completely missing, that'd be annoying...

Thats fine. For you.
For me it is an issue.
For plenty of other people its an issue too and I'm sure for plenty of other people, it isn't an issue.
I simply asked if anyone knew a fix or a way improve it and in response, get some muppet telling me there is no issue.

Dean Learner: 'An eagle-eyed viewer might be able to see the wires. A pedant, might be able to see the wires. But I think if you're looking at the wires you're ignoring the story. If you go to a puppet show you can see the wires. But it's about the puppets, it's not about the string. If you go to a Punch & Judy show and you're only watching the wires, you're a freak.'

Shame the textures ruined the game for you. My PC is old and awful so I played on low/medium settings but I really enjoyed it.

Like I said, I don't think the post was saying there is no texture issue, just that it shouldn't be an issue that stops you enjoying the game. Of course it's fine for you to disagree if you find it is a major issue for your enjoyment of the game, for some other areas of the game are more important.

Listen pal.

I would suggest if you have issues with games not being photorealistic then maybe gaming isnt for you.

I've never had a game that didn't have 'texture issues' of some sorts, but some muppet will always moan and be rude, and then continue to aggravate in his next 5 or 6 posts.
