Hmmm I watched the video and took pictures of settings and copied same settings on 1080p I get 120-130fps on 388.10 hotfix driver, man SMAA was horrible gave me a bad headache after played for a min. Installed new 388.13 driver and restarted PC then ran again, wow very impressed to see massive boost 170-200fps. I never played games at lower settings, always played with all settings maxed out at 1080p with TSSAA 8TX I get 160-190 fps.

Very impressed with new driver.

So the 388.13 driver makes a difference?

This new update is BS. Trying to force a driver update on me when 17.10.2 is hella unstable, the game ran pretty well on 17.10.1 (ignoring occasional crashes :))

Bit of a mixed bag sometimes VEGA wining, other times the 1080 is winning.. All in All a good showing :D
I would like to see HBCC tested also, I gained quite a big fps just by enabling HBCC
Have another watch, Vega is only ever ahead at the cut scene at the start. In all gameplay the 1080 is comfortably ahead.

Exactly, this is what I have been saying from the start, as per PCGH and ComputerBase testing, AT MAX SETTINGS, Vega wins in non taxing scenes "like cutscenes", in taxing scenes "like outdoor scenes" NVIDIA wins, sometimes by a massive margin. You can see that in the video which has a nice mix of outdoor and indoor scenes.
