I do not need to play it, I have tried it on other titles. And you are wrong about G-Sync. You are talking as if G-Sync is magic that smooths out your game. All it does is drop your refresh rate so they sync with the fps on show. Then it becomes smooth for that very reason.

Therefor proving syncing is smoother and unsyncing causes judder. This is fact and not up for debate.

I pre ordered it. Bought New Order on release and it ran fine for me @ 1440p with a 290x. Really enjoyed the game and looking forward tho this

G sync smooths out frame drops by syncing the monitor refresh rate to the output from the gpu. I can assure you 100% you are wrong about 60fps on a higher refresh rate monitor causes judder. I am playing gta v right now locked to 60fps. Just because you say something is fact doesn't make it so. I could record a gameplay clip if you like?

Yes because you need to buy this special game because it behaves different that all the other games on the market right? This has to be one of the dumbest posts i have read in a long time. You can run ANY game at 60fps on a 120hz monitor and see that it causes out of sync juddering.

You are one of these people who just has bad eyes. Why else would you be playing GTA V at 60fps on a higher refresh rate monitor? I play at 120fps because i can see bad things below that fps. I am done with this nonsense because as i said earlier G-Sync proves fps dips below your refresh rate causes judder. I am not going to argue anymore. The internet and a read through of G-Sync proves i am right about syncronization.

By your logic, if I can't hit 120fps in any game with my 120hz monitor, the game will judder. Complete and utter nonsense.

I take that as a bit of an insult actually. I play GTA locked to 60fps as its much smoother than playing at 120hz with the frequent frame rate drops in GTA. You see, it's actually the frame rate drops that cause judder or stutter.

No I'm gaming at 60 FPS (not hz, and it's not the same difference) on a 120hz screenin select titles. You keep laughing, you obviously haven't got a single clue. Tell me one thing, if I get a solid 70 FPS on a 120/144hz screen, will the game judder?

Came in at under £7, pre-loading now. Bring it on! TNO only ran at a solid 60fps once I upgraded GFX to a 980 at my resolution, the 290x stuttered randomly due to VRAM it seemed. Looking forward to Old Blood

They have the same amount of VRAM.

Oops yes, the 290x was getting random fps drops whereas the GTX980 was flawless. It was the GTX780 (3GB) I had before the 290x that had the VRAM issue at 3440x1440. perhaps it was more to do with AMD's drivers I don't know, all I can say is everything was nice after changing to the 980.

Pre-ordered myself as well seeing as TNO was my personal GOTY last year..

Ordered from CDKeys, when are they likely to ship out the key? I'm fine for download speed so guess it doesn't matter. Got GTA V done in 2 hours so this should be fine.
