If she looks away look at her facial expression, you can easily tell if she is shy or disgusted.

If she starts smiling she is shy, if she starts choking she is disgusted

I've got a similar problem. I see this girl often, and when I'm a distance away or if shes with her friends she will make good eye contact, i've seen her looking at me and I find myself looking back, I always notice her out of the crowd, but then when I walk past her when we're both on our own she see's me and then looses eye contact and wont look. I'm not sure what it is, I would love to think that she liked me and was shy but I havnt a clue. After what I've been through recently, I wouldnt mind meeting a new girl.

I could do that, but she might not say Hi back, and she might turn out to be a nasty person, with nasty friends that point and laugh at me everytime I walk past in future lol

Just say hello to her man, if she turns out to be horrible with horrible friends then you've lost nothing and can stop thinking about her and move on to the next target.
