Used to love the switch back in the day when clubbing all night. That extra hour before the lights came on at 8am was amazing. Being robbed of an hour in March used to suck!

Love being back in GMT/UTC/Zulu. I'm working this weekend. Fortunately days and not nights. Hour more in bed, instead of an hour more at work. Result

Yes I'm sure a main dealer would have inspected that clock adjustment gear as part of their pre-handover checks.

I agree - stick with BST all year round. If we stuck with GMT all year round, it means that it starts to get light at 2AM in the summer time. I can't be doing with that, let alone 3AM.

Let's make it simple and make it so it's 0600 everyday at official London sunrise time.
Every 6 months I think the same. And comment the same. Farmers can change thier clocks. Not the rest of the country!

As much as I hate winter due to SAD, in the short term this could help me a bit on the return to work, I've had a non-Covid lurgy for ~2.5 weeks which has made getting up before 1000 a struggle... On work days I have to be up before 0600.
I don't usually start work until 12. I'm barely going to see daylight. GMT can sod right off.

Wake me up when it's March. I can't stand the winter.
I'll always love those exceptional peak summer nights if it was a solid clear sunny day before. Once it gets dark-ish around 23:30 and the sky is only a slight navy blue, you can still see a degree of light on the horizon. Then it was fully light by 3 - 3:30AM.
