Woo-hoo, the clocks go back to GMT this weekend!

I can only offer my condolences, it must be quite depressing for you. In my case it's all good from here until March [at which point I start getting seriously stressed out and in need of medication]. But Oct-Feb is pretty much utter bliss for me.

Thanks. Yeah I knew moving here I'd be sacrificing a worse winter than normal. For a better summer. Just wish winter wasn't so long!

Feels like we skipped Summer and Autumn, it was just one long mild cloudly year. Autumn hasn't properly happened as most of the trees my way still have green leaves on them, usually by now they've all turned brown and shedding

We had a good spell in September and early October. Then that mini heat wave in... July??

Got good memories of that!

Yay tonight! Awesome, I forgot.

An extra beer!

My youngest came round Saturday afternoon with his wife, we’d been looking after their cat while they had a week in Germany, visiting my elder son.
He stood quietly looking out of the window around 16.50 and I said, “What’s up kid?”
He said, “I was thinking that this time tomorrow it’ll be 10 to 4 and dusk like this, what an absolute pile of ****!”

GMT doesn't apply to Sky+ boxes though apparently.

 Slackers at Sky.

We are aware that some customers with Sky+ boxes are seeing British Summer Time shown in the Sky Guide menu this morning following the overnight seasonal clock change. We are investigating how to correct this. We have verified that the impact appears limited to the wrong time being shown in the clock. Watching live TV, recordings, and downloading and playing VOD appear to be working correctly.

The more I deal and see customer services with Sky the more despair I see.

The sky tech guy who usually changes the time phoned in sick

 Sadly I could believe that in todays mad world. Covid stopped it from happening.
