I don't believe anyone is saying ALL as in 100%, but rather a contingent, which IS, and WILL cause problems, whether it is rampant black crime which does a tendancy towards racism, honour killings in the isolated communities within communities and all the other issues that happen, as well as the ever problem of islams amalgamation of religion and state.

I concur with PooBrain. This is a country built on Christianity. People also died for our freedoms here. People of other religiong have the freedom to practice their faith here. People have the freedom to come to our country, they also have as much freedom to leave. If Muslims don't like our country, our flag and our history, then they are quite free to leave it.

The country may be built on Christianity, but that's the past. It's not going to be existing as a Christian country for much longer, and people should accept that and get on with it, frankly. Hopefully this country will become secular.

Furthermore, if you don't like the country, then you're also free to leave.

Some what of an exaggeration.

Between 2001 and 2011 there has been a decrease in people who identify as Christian (from 71.7 per cent to 59.3 per cent) and an increase in those reporting no religion (from 14.8 per cent to 25.1 per cent). There were increases in the other main religious group categories, with the number of Muslims increasing the most (from 3.0 per cent to 4.8 per cent).

As said, Muslims are free to practice their religion as they please, if it is an issue with the country that they are born in then that is no different to you or I having an issue with the country you are born in... you adhere to the laws. Expressing your faith through beheading someone doesn't really fall inline with that.

What you're not getting though, is the inescapable nature of religion in the human psyche.

Religion as much as you may like it, will NOT disappear and will always have some influence on the society.

The issue is whether we accept that we have a Christian heritage (do not mistake this for the church/state argument), and base our country around this. This will insulate us against negative forces of change.

OR

We can become a secular country, and watch the vacuum that Christianity will leave be filled with things far less desirable....
