You do realise that they could have murdered many more people if they wanted to. They clearly aimed to die after this anyway since they tried to commit suicide via armed police.

Why do you think they only killed the 'soldier'?

So that people like you would then make points like this. Making it out to be some kind of soldier on soldier conflict and trying to pass it off as some kind of standard part of war.

Woolwich isn't a war zone, that soldier was not on active duty and the two disgusting individuals that butchered him are not soldiers either.

They killed a soldier, they hung around preaching nonsense trying to get a political point across and then tried to commit suicide by charging armed police officers.

This was not an act of war, it was a depraved and disgusting act on an innocent person.

I find it hard to believe a person experienced in martial arts would run away from a 13 yo girl with a knife, she probably wouldn't even have the strength/speed to cause any damage with it, at 6ft 2 he could probably shout boo and she'd drop it.

ITV have published that video - why are they not playing the part that mentions religious undertones? It all seems a bit suspect to me. If they have the evidence why not just release it?

Indeed, people in the right places will spin this to further tarnish Islam if it gains them anything.

In the end Only ignorant people will take this at face value there is a lot more to be seen.

Even if they were Muslim I do not consider Extremists Muslim at all, they are more like brainwashed and culturally stupid humans regardless of color and origin.

Indeed.

To be fair about Islam, the actions of these two people are as far removed from normal British Muslims as the actions of the BNP putting razor blades in letters to Jewish people are to the average normal English person.

While the concept of martyrdom makes it comparatively easier to twist to indoctrinate young people into committing terrible acts, this is still isolated to the extreme elements of the Islamic society.

Don't get me wrong, I really don't like religion at all (any of them) - but I find racists, bigots & religious extremists just as distasteful.

Ironically, the extreme posters here on this forum - if they had been born into Islam - they are the exact kind of people who would be most likely to end up as extremists.

Nationalism - check.
Uncontrollable anger - check
Stupidity - check
Anger at people of different ethnic groups - check

I know that our streets are becoming more dangerous. That's enough for me to be against immigrant. Are there some good decent foreigners? Sure. But I don't care. We should ban them all. Unless you are highly respected in your respected field. How the hell is it possible for them to come over here and claim our money? Tell me that.

And all the nhs foreign doctors & nurses

And all the Spanish vets

Scorza's 5 point plan for starting to combat the Islamic extremists:

1) Separate Muslim extremist prisoners from the rest of the prison population. Prison is the ideal place to recruit angry, young, thick men for your jihad.

2) Immediate freeze on applications for British passports from people with non-British citizenship.

3) Scrap human rights act (duh) and come up with something more pragmatic for the Age of Terror.

4) Introduce licensing and monitoring scheme for new Mosques, planning permission for new Mosques dependent on agreeing to take part in this new scheme. New Mosque planning applications must not include plans for minarets.

5) A ban on wearing clothing that obscures the face in public.

Baghdad was not a warzone either untill our soldiers went over there. Surely you expect the war to come back to you or is it only ok to have wars when its not on our doorstep?
