I guess that up to the opposing fighting forces. I'm sure I’ve read of Afghan (Taliban) training camps being bombed from the air or raided on numerous occasions. Also as mentioned above when "but when we use UAVs to take out known insurgents, do we only attack them if they are armed at the time (or is the fact they are known militants enough to warrant a strike)?."
Many fighters in Afghanistan are described as foreign fighters, so i think it would be highly likely that some Somalians took/take part in the war in Afghanistan.

Erm Afghanistan us an ally of the US and UK... I believe we also provide support to Somalia. Your post is flawed... it's got nothing to do with fighting an oppressor... we're not even fighting in Somalia... It's down to the usual Islamo-rubbish
I wonder if Craterloads is also happy to accept that, in the eye of the extremist, he (as well as most people in the UK) is also a valid target, an enemy of Allah who will burn in the hell fire? This is assuming he is not an extremist Muslim himself.

You seem to be forgetting that we have trained Afghans to keep their own country secure, we are not at war with Iraq or Afghanistan or Somalia.
The irony here is, that scumbag is saying an "eye for an eye" well he should go and kill other muslims then judging by Iraq and Pakistans latest bombings and murders.

You obviously completely missed the point of what he was saying. Whether he did martial arts or not, most people, when faced with someone with a knife will run. For most people, fight or flight results in flight.

That there are some foreign fighters does not, in any way, indicate that they have had a large influx of Somalian soldiers.
Stop thinking about national identity, this issue is no longer confined to a couple of problem nations.
It doesn't matter if its a Somalian or Afghani or Pakistani or Eastern European...it just doesn't, not at this level anyway, it just isnt needed and its just looking for someone to blame.
