Woolwich serious incident

Here is hoping they get fixed up back to 100% ready for the opening up they will get at Her Majesty pleasure.

He's speaking for everyone in Afghanistan now :)

He's making things worse. I can only hope that the rest of the committee are sat with their heads in their hands right now and he'll be ostracised on his return.

Who the hell is the guy on the BBC news channel now!

Some of what he is saying makes perfect sense he's speaking quite fairly i think about both sides. Not sure what others here views are he is better then the normal quests they get or panel of one for or against, he at least seems to be addressing issues on both sides.

Edit
Just heard him say he is representing the people of Afghanistan ... OK!

I would accept the argument that is not a hate crime; if the victims were not white british and they just happened to be indian british or arab british. At this point i am not aware of the nationality of the victims. If it the victims are of non white british than i think you can say it is not a hate crime or racist attack specificaly but an attack on the military/national army, most likely in revenge attack against occupation and attack of arab countries. Could also be syria/isreal related, intention is one thing. But what are the facts of the matter?

I agree that British foreign policy is wrong, I agree with him that the Muslim community doesn't do enough to stop radicalisation.

I don't agree that Muslims are the victims.

Maybe I'm jaded, but stuff this messed up happens all the time around the world.

But not in the UK.

The shock I can understand I guess, but the massive "outrage bombs" are growing old - since when did we become a public to move from issue to issue to get "outraged" about (but ultimately do nothing about).

Seems to be relatively common so I am not sure why you are surprised? Maybe it would be more legitimate if 38 degrees started an Internet petition? :D

Of course it was slow. People get hacked up in London every day, every bloody day. I know someone who got hacked with a machete two days ago. I know someone who got shot two weeks ago. People kill for whatever they disagree with.

The police don't care about black people murdering each other for their drugs and iPhones. The only reason this is getting so much attention (and rightly so) is because it was a soldier and politically motivated, but the police didn't know that at the time.

Preach!

Why are some people here surprised! Like "oh know, so close to home :'("

You reap what you sow. For hundreds of years the british state has been a vicious entity and it still is today supporting murderous, brutal regimes like Saudi Arabia and Israel. But when it happens in your own back yard you call for it to be stopped.

You're a bunch of hypocrites. Don't act is if this is something about fundamentalist Islam. The british state doesn't have a problem when the most fundamentalist Islamic state in the world wants to buy British weapons to oppress dissenters in exchange for cosy trade deals.

Get a grip. Wake up. This isn't about Whites vs Blacks, Whites vs Muslims or Whites versus any other race. It is about rich against poor.

I feel very bad for the soldier and his family...just as much as i do about many people killed and tortured by british and american troops. At the end of the day, these soldiers are mostly poor white kids from working class backgrounds sent to war by a rich white elite under the guise of it being some sort of noble heroic act.

Peace and love to all.
