Seriously mate. I have lived here since I was 10 years old. The influx of Somalians has grown and grown and they form gangs capable of some atrocious things.

I have known at least 5 people to get threatened with knives and mugged of their cash and phones. One of them was stabbed by his somali attacker just for the fun of it.

The flats there behind the Anglesey arms are constantly being raided and many firearms are found. It's just horrible.

So why are they not deported...

Are the deleted posts mentioning a possible religious motivation for the attack? I don't think it's completely unwarranted to put that forward as a (fairly likely) motivation.

Incidentally it is sad that the army is seemingly not putting as much emphasis on not identifying yourself as a memeber of the armed forces now there is less of a threat form Irish dissidents. The reality is that there are still other very real domestic threats in this country particularly when large numbers of certain communities are present in a particular area.

When I was in the London Officer Training Corps, we were told not to ever wear unifom outside of training or the like, for this reason.


Truth be told, I reckon attacks like this will become more frequent. Can't turn a place into a boiling pot and not expect scalding.

For the record I wasn't shouting racist, I was just questioning the wisdom of calling it a Religious fundamentalist attack based on someone shouting 'I've had enough'. I'm well aware of the problems that people from war torn countries bring along with them. Wish it would be treated as a social problem rather than just race...

Think normal police arrived quikly but just wathed until armed response arrived as why tackle a guy with a gun when yoiu're unarmed? Just contain the situation is probably the best route.
