Woolwich serious incident

I would if he / she had policies that I agreed with. When voting I look at the policies rather than the persons' religion.

You are aware Muslims come in all colours not just middle-eastern looking

Since when has a PM kept their policies? They're all lying *******s. Trust no one is my motto.

I don't think you understand just how bad it would be if this country ever got a Muslim PM.

Yeah and if a party chose a Muslim leader they would get no votes from the MAJORITY of British white people.

Would it really make a flying @#*?

I don't think it would really matter if the Labour, Lib Dem or Conservative Parties hand a Muslim Leader, their policies would be exactly the same.

What if they are already in power?

I'd vote for anyone if i felt they could actively make positive changes for the country. Without a doubt. Only the ignorant and small minded would think otherwise.

There is a whole world of difference and it is pretty sad you can't see it tbh. Like I said as far as I am concerned people like you are part of the problem. Educated by propaganda rather than personal experience of the issues.

Have you ever been to the tribal areas of Pakistan, Iran or Afghanistan? Do you actually have the vaguest clue what it is like there.

By your comparisons and appeal to reason for causation you are justifying it. There is a difference between understanding the issues and context (which I suspect you really don't) and making blanket well its the same and therefore understandable in that two wrongs make a right argument. Which is ineffect what you are doing. You condemn it and then there is always a BUT ... which is the problem there is always a BUT.

Well you can go ahead and continue to stick your head in the sand if you wish but it's entirely true.

My ex-wife was fairly 'devout' (she prayed most days but not eveyday) and didn't even wear a hijab. All her friends and family (i'd say i knew close to 100) pretty much all of them had this attitude. I can only count one guy who didn't want that mostly because he loved sleeping around.

Tell me more about anecdotal evidence, and how it completely and flawlessly supports your statements.

You make me giggle, you really do :)

Wearing blinkers must be FUN.

I am not ignorant. I'm pretty tolerant of most things within reason, as long as no one is harmed. Putting a Muslim as our PM would be a disaster. I don't think you realise the kind of power that would give them. They're already among our politicians making KEY decisions. It's not right.

Jason you're changing your argument. First it was no white British person would vote for a Muslim PM and now it's the majority of white British people would vote. Have some consistency!

AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAA.

Tolerant.

Muslims making key decisions ins't right.

Possibly the most ridiculous post so far :D

Actually yes, but that's another story.

Look i get it, you're a ex-soldier so will be difficult for you to comprehend, the opposing side can do the same as legitimately as you can.

This is war, two sides kill the opposing sides troops, that’s how it works.

I'm not saying two wrongs make a right, i'm saying two wrongs are wrong.

spoffle, if you really want to act the idiot and pretend it's not happening then please feel free to do so. But speaking directly to the Muslims is the single best way to know what people are thinking in the street. And it's not good

Yet we and our allies find no problem in killing non-combatants all the time. In fact funerals are deemed legitmate target by us and our allies.

We take out high ranking low ranking dudes all the times in non-combatant situations. In fact we and our allies are handing out medals to these guys

I'm not talking about illegal killings, i'm talking about state sanctioned legal killings, pre-emptive strikes, training camps, funerals etc. This is war, do you think only one side has the right to do attack the other in their home lands? Being of the same underlying faith and being a serving member of an Army, i'm sure you can grasp the differences.

Are people at funerals active combatants? Are target assignation victims in a combatitive role when they are killed? Are people in training camps legitimate targets? (you know like barracks) This man was a serving soldier of the opposite side to these men.

Again I’m not justifying anything, just pointing out we do the same and treat these actions as heroic, yet the opposing side does similar it's somehow barbaric.

Stop pretending I’m justifying these actions because I’m not, i've stated numerous times they are disgusting as are the actions carried out by our forces.

That old chestnut

...or even religion as a whole.

That Gandhi, always invading, raping and pillaging

To be fair Ghandi was involved in recruiting indian soldiers for the british for WW1, amongst other things to do with the previous wars, Boer War, Zulu war etc.

Unless you knew that and were not actually being sarcastic! :D
