I believe its much better pay as well.
I have never lived off the goverment/parents and i wouldn't reduce myself to working in a fast food place because i am better than that. Simple as.![]()
On a slightly related note. When emailing a CV to a potential employer, am I better copying the CV content into the email, or sending it in .doc format?
As an attachment, but it would be better in person or via snail mail with a cover letter unless email is specified.
Haha, this thread reminds me of the greatest customer service I ever received at McDonalds, I approached the counter and the attendant said (in a terribly depressed voice) "D'ya wan owt?".
I spent 4 years there through college and first 2 years of uni, and correct - it is hell, but if you learn how to play the system, get the managers on your side, pick your own shifts etc then it can be a real easy money maker. Granted its only like £40 for 8 hours work though.
Better than that?
I've worked in fast food, and to be fair loved it, you certainly aint better than me![]()
Working in fast food is bloody hard work. I know of a few managers that regard it highly if you stuck at it. There's a few jobs like that in the retail industry.
