To all the people (not necessarily here) who said it didn't matter where you finish in the group, just look at Saturday's fixtures. 
Uruguay look likely to make the semis at least with an easy run.

Wouldn't be too sure of that, we've faced the Germans enough to understand their play style and logic, they don't seem to ever change as England have increased the tempo of their play not to mention the German side is young and was close to being beaten by Ghana in their previous match and losing to Serbia, the Aussie's wasn't exactly a triumph considering it's Australia, so England have every right to be the team to come out on top.

Germany have been playing far far far better football than England this tournament.
Wrong.
England haven't been beaten. Germany have by a very poor Serbia.
Ghana should have beaten Germany easily last night as well but couldn't finish.
So which bit of that is FAR FAR FAR better ?

The good news is, if we get to the final, we should be good enough to win considering we's be beating Germany Argentina on the way?
Also Spain? Someone might correct me on Spain.
Brazil aren't anything to shout about I don't think. I'd be more concerned playing Argentina and Portugal.. Just because Portugal are ***** and will probably have Ronaldo score a winning goal against us

Spain need a win against Chile and the Swiss will most likely beat Honduras, so Spain need to win. Argentina vs Mexico should be a comfortable win for Argentina, but i still think Mexico will give them a run for their money.
Portugal are pretty much safe as long as the Ivory Coast doesn't get a score of like 8-0 vs North Korea, but i'm hoping Portugal hammer Brazil.

If Chile win their 3rd game that means they win their group with a perfect score. Kinda scary when you think about it.

Its a tad early to call Chile good, Honduras, a 10 man Swiss team they came very close to drawing with despite being up a man for the majority of the game.
They've not played anyone good yet, they look impressive but then look at England, against two teams that pushed out against us, we sucked, against Slovenia who were playing for a draw and not attacking we looked a completely different team.
Chile do appear like they can play good attacking football, but we've yet to see how that attacking football stands up when half the attack starts from a deep defensive position and how good they are defensively. Under heavy attack they might be horrible defensively and with the attack starting much deeper, their attack might crumble into nothing. THe Chile Spain game will obviously provide a much tougher test and give a much better indication of how Chile are against a good side. One of the most interesting games we've got coming up as we know how good most other sides really are already.

brazil have been very strong defensively, the only reason why korea scored against them is because their players were extremely fit and 85 minutes into the match the guy was still running at full pelt, they did crumble against portugal though in the 7-0 whipping which takes the shine off brazil's win, but korea were crap in that game and good in their first. they havent lost or drawn a game yet either, and their players are under performing if anything, i think with kaka not playing they will be much better, hes had a shocker so far, sometimes change is good.
Germany have easily been more impressive than England - means little going into the game on Sunday, but the Germans outclassed Australia.... then should have beaten or at least drew with Serbia (despite playing with 10 men for an hour). Then they dispatched of Ghana.
England poked draws against USA and Algeria, before hanging on by their fingernails to beat Slovenia. As I say mean little but the Germans have played better football and are technically better than us.... the saving grace for England is that if we get into Germany early on and play as direct as we can, I doubt the German defence could prevent us scoring.
Ill put the Jinx on South Korea, love um to win through against Uruguay though.
From the first time i noticed them in a friendly against france before the 02 world cup, where they played them off the park, iv'e been nothing but impressed by their style and approach to the game.
They just need clinch up on their defensive system and individual errors, and they'd be a powerhouse.

Germany lost to Serbia due to 2 of the most ridiculous yellow cards thus far in the world cup.
That England performance against Algeria regardless of the fact that they did not lose was easily every bit as bad as the French.
Either way I think England will edge it 2-1.

Oh sorry I didn't realise you got 3 points for less yellow cards or even take 3 points off you if you get too many.
Germany lost cos Serbia scored more goals than them not because of yellow cards. Watch closer next time.
