Doubt they have really had defending practice with Maradona in charge though, so that's why they probably looks shaky.
Yeah 34 goals from 44 with 5 goals from 7 champions leagues starts is the sort of asysmal overhyped form Ferguson will be hoping Rooney doesn't replicate next year. Without the injury there is a good chance he would have scored more than ronaldo the previous year.
People put too much stock in world cup football showing your the best on the planet, well Salvatore Schillaci took Italia 90 by storm and won the golden boot, for the next 5 or 6 years he struggled to score any sort of goal. He performed on the world stage, was he world class, certainly not.
Leagues are littered with poor buys from players who have great world cups/euros and then never perform week in week out.

yeah it is a weakish defence, but end of the day they play with the style of you score 5 we will score 6.
If you and others were listening properly, he said we played well at 2-1 and 2-2, not through the whole match.
Tipped Argentina two win the world cup last month. simple because this is their strongest squad they have ever took to a world cup. Even tho they just scraped though qualifying. Heck if you can use 105 players and still qualifile that gotta count for something
