All this talk about Rooney is crap is a joke. I hate the bloke but even I know how good he is on his day.

That aside he was one of the worse players in the torument but can't blame just him. Look at his teams mates. Look at all the problems before a ball was even kicked on and off the pitch.

Terry plain and simple should not be picked in an England top again

Indeed, he still looks dangerous whilst being shackled by defensives. The otherside of that is it frees up more space for the other players to exploit.
 
let's take a closer look at rooneys goals in the prem who was the vast majority against ? what did he do in the champions league ?

having said all this it's our shocking defence that let us down at the end of the day
 
I know it would be an unpopular choice but I'll tell you what this England team (in terms of new manager) needs and its Red Nev! Gary Neville seems a a smart guy with the strength to make the big calls. He would soon sort this out :)

indeed at time's I thought Rooney was playing in midfield he was that deep specially in the USA game and to be honest the service was none existent hence all Rooney's 30 yard shooting lol

Yes there is, and it's damn good too. The problem is that it's not getting a chance due to this fixation over experience. Look at Germany's squad. England thought they had a chance due to the German squad's relative inexperience at such a stage. That turned out well, didn't it? Michael Dawson had an utterly fantastic season for his club and not only didn't get a game, he was even dropped from the original squad until Rio got crocked. Then there's the likes of Darren Bent, Adam Johnson, Joe Hart, Tom Huddlestone, Gabby Agbonlahor etc...

The young talent is there. They're just not getting their chance.
 
I want them all out simple as that nothing else will do not interested in england if any and I mean any of that core of players is in an england shirt again

This thread and the utter methane that is escaping from it is a fine example of why England can not and did not win. It is also a superb specimen of today's general idea that English patriotism is somehow a sin - patriotism that is derailed by defeat is simply blind bias.
