Well done Argentina, poor Messi still not scoring though.


Terrible, terrible decision with the first goal. Could have been a different story if that had not been given.
 
How long will Argentina's luck last? Saved by the woodwork, the referee and a stupid defensive mistake there.

Mexico could quite well have taken that to the wire if the goal had been correctly ruled out, great goal by Hernandez.

Was Messi even playing? Massively overrated imo :p Higuain was entirely absent and Tevez was just rubbish, lost the ball constantly. Superb strike for the goal but even then he was lucky the ball fell to him after he'd lost it again.

Mexico would have got much further in this tournament if they'd made better selection choices, Vela looked poor in the first few matches, Hernandez has looked class and should have started from the beginning of the tournament. Barrera looks awesome, yet was only on the bench?!? incidently someone should sign him, looks very good.
 
Had this on in the background, just heard Shearer talking about some sort of mistake and not showing it in case it caused a riot?

What was that about? :p

Goal was scored but was offside. Ref awarded it but the big screens in the stadium 'accidentally' showed the replay and Mexicans went mad.
