In betting terms, 1 bet = single, 2 bets = double, 3 bets = treble, 4 bets or more is usually called an accumulator, however some sites list this as 4-fold, then 5-fold for 5 bets, etc. Still the same thing though. :)

As above really. 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, whatever amount of teams you pick from 4 teams upwards may in some instances still be called an accumulator.

Iv already put down £2.50 on France to win group A, along with the rest of the groups, but who else would win this group? not clued up on the other 3 teams.

I covered my back, put 3 group bets, one with france win, one with mexico win, one with Uraquay win.

This is really making my world cup more exiting :)

I dont usually bet, I think iv only put two bets in my 25 years of life before these, the last one a 5 game accumulator, got me £180, if some of these come in, especially the 14 and 15 game accumulators im going to be celebrating happy times :)

Anyone used Totesport? How do I check my betting slips or print them? In 'my account' settings, I can see my bets but nothing in detail so I can print out etc..

I don't think France will win the group, the coach doesn't set the team up well and there's a lot of dissatisfaction in the team and the country in general. They have been rubbish since before the Euro 08, they were crap in qualifying and then bombed out in the groups iirc? giving 3 shamefully bad performances. I don't need to tell you how indifferent they were in qualifying for the WC either, outplayed by Ireland but they went through because of a dodgy decision.

Uruguay were ok in qualifying but have Suarez and Forlan, the latter I expect will have a great WC and Mexico are a good team, both of them could beat France currently.

Out of the big teams I think that both France and Portugal are the ones most likely to go out in the groups

Used the £25 free bet thing. Placed it on all top seeds to win their first game and Portugal to beat Ivory Coast. Potential returns: £1486.43. :D

England will probably mess it up. :o
