World cup Final - Italy v France **SPOILERS**

My heart says France. I'd love to see Titi get another WC winners medal, and it would be a great send of for Zidane, one of the greatest players of our generation.
My heart however says Italy, and so does my wallet, I might just make up my losses if they win, and Luca Toni backs a hat-trick!
 
looking back i wish i put some money on either italy or france to win it..

bet the odds were pretty good before the tournament :p

i put a tenna on england for a laugh, i really was having a laugh putting my money on them

You should have known that flushing the tenner down the toilet would be just as productive as backing England :p
 
I got full faith in Italy winning the World Cup. I am hoping they carry on their fantastic form from the other night, they have what it takes to win the WC, I was saying it from the beginning where Italy looked the strongest team on paper as well as on form.
Italy took risks and this is how they play best. Lippi has always been the more attack favouring coach as he was with Juve and I knew he would do something amazing with Italy and has by taking them to the final.

Holland 2000 should be ringing in their ears and how they lost so dramatically. Should be a special occasion for Del Piero as he got a point to prove, I hope he gets a goal to store away his gremlins from that fateful day (missed two clear chances :()

France can still turn up but didn’t show their full might against Portugal, may be they were saving themselves, may be they weren’t playing that well, hope its the latter but this is too big an opportunity for both teams to just let it slip out of their hands, you can guarantee both teams will be battling it out till the last minute.

I think Italy deserve this more than France, our Azzurri played fantastically against Germany and proved what Italian football really is about, as Nedved said we have to take revenge for 1998 and 2000 but in the end its world cup football and impossible to say what will happen.

One things for sure though every Italian like me is proud that his team has come this far and even if we lose they let us dream things that we never thought possible before the tournament. FORZA AZZURRI :D

No offence my friend but you aussies are just bitter that the best team went through, Materazzi should never have been sent off and had he been on the pitch we would have smashed you 3-0 as we had all the play anyway, now quit winging and accept the fact that you flew home :)

True not nice but how many things in life dont go your way, why mention it in every post :p Im glad Grosso went down ( read dived ) because otherwise i wouldnt have seen Totti's amazing penalty :D
