Normally Gilly get's it right when commenting on dives & such but I think even he was conned by the quality of Malouda's deception this time. Materazzi pulled away but Malouda was too quick for the refs eye & left his leg trailing

Anyone else find it annoying hearing Mark Lawrenson cackling in the background at one of Motson's 'jokes'? Very irritating and have heard it throughout the tournament!

Was expecting a defensive(ish) game but it's been a cracker - definitely helped by the early goal.
Turns our Gilly was rigt all along about the penalty - it wasn't intentional but he definitely clipped him. Good decision by the ref.
