World Cup Group B (England, Paraguay, Trinidad and Tobago, Sweden) **SPOILERS**

Bloody good on T&T. England will really have to turn on the style on them and show some heart too. Still yay Swedes only got 1 point.
 
excellent game.. well done trinidad...

gives england more of a breather .... BUT... we cant just turn up and expect a win now.. i think they will give us a good run out...

ideal if we cant beat them thursday.. qualification with a game in hand... but no easy task judging from tonights game

ITV are crap at the best of times but this world cup, tjhey blow more than the whole of germanys prostitues.

After this game i HOPE Sven will take some time to look at the footage and put in some killer tactis, thats what he gets £3mil a year for.

Agreed, far too many adverts and their ITV 1 broadcast has shocking picture quality in comparison to BBC 1. ITV HD is beautiful picture quality though, still too many adverts and the programme is too short, BBC HD automatically goes with the 'Extra' content, ITV HD has nothing you don't get on ITV1.
 
Well not a convincing second half performance by England, but they got the result. I'm hoping Sven realised this as from his interview he seemed upbeat when no one else was, if he thinks a performance like that will win the WC he's got another thing coming. Still not to be too negative, some good came out of the game.
Cant stand Wrighty as a pundit, he has nothing of value ever to say that and get players names wrong, " yeah so there was Roque Junior on the ball, good play by him!" WTF? lol at least he realised his mistake :o

Fantastic performance by T&T but with all due respect, Sweden played more of a football match throughout the whole game than England did against Paraguay. First I really saw Wilhelmsson play properly and he has really impressed me today. Hislop kept them in it, and I’d be surprised if he didn’t start against England now on that performance. Ibrahimovic is different player when he plays for his country shame he cant do that for Juve.

Still the result favours England, so great news for them.
 
I must say I dont agree with the ITV coverage comments, its 100x better than the BBC tripe if you ask me.

The 'extra coverage' you get with the BBC is either the studio pundits looking uncomfortable and trying to find something to say, or cheesy clips like the Ricky Gervais one.

Motson is well past his best as a commentator, and Jonathon Pierce just makes me think 'Robot Wars!!!!' everytime he speaks.

This is all down to the unique way the BBC is funded of course ;)
