Totally agree. Everyone said this before the Portugal game inEuro 2004 and he came up with a great goal. People have been saying he's been finished every year but he always comes up with the goods. During his early days at Real he got critised then he got a chance to play and his goals to games ratio was very good.Vandle said:

He scored 7 goals in 11 games for Newcastle.
All this while being between injuries and everyone telling him he was ****.

He scored 18 in 97-98, 18 in 98-99, 11 in 99-00, 16 in 00-01, 19 in 01-02, 19 in 02-03, 16 in 03-04.
Would you like to point out the downward trend?
Of course he will have better seasons than others, all strikers do. But there is no reason why this next season at Newcastle can't be his best ever. He is guaranteed starts, he's fit and he was banging them in last season.
The 16 in 46 for Madrid, tell me how many of them were coming off the bench for 10 minutes. As for his last season at Liverpool, he got 16 in 29 games and im sure that they say a goal every other game is what a top class striker should aim for.ballistic said:
