I doubt there's many people in the world with as much footy knowledge as Motty.

I don't like Motson at all. His voice irritates me, which isn't a good start for a commentator.... Then there is the fact he gets so many things wrong which are blatently obvious.

As for his footy knowledge, he probably prints something of Wikipedia before each match and reads it off.

To be fair though, I can't stand most commentators other than Alan Green on Radio Five Live and the top Sky ones like Andy Gray and Martin Tyler.

As for the football, since thats what the World Cup is all about

I've really enjoyed this World Cup so far. There's been some great games with some brilliant goals. Rosicky looked superb today, two great finishes and that strike which hit the bar :eek:

Great signing for the Premiership, especially for £7m

Off the ball incidents can be punished, don't see why that couldn't be. Refs discretion I guess.

As a neutral, but supporting Ghana in the game I think they're getting hard done by on some decisions.

They deserve a goal imo.
