It's not them bribing FIFA as a whole it is the individuals on the committee that are thought to be taking the back handers.

iirc, the chap from or side (Lord Treison (sp?) resigned due to being caught on camera talking about them being dodgy so and so's.

That's the way the world works though, sure it's disappointing - I'm disappointed but these knee-jerk allegations of corruption just reek of sour grapes. Russia put together a good bid, and have been favourites for a long time. FIFA have made no secret of the importance of bringing football to a wider audience than its core in Europe and South America. It's disappointing we only got one vote though lol.

Qatar will be exciting, can't wait to see what they will do with the new stadiums they are going to build and dismantle.
