The thing I would be afraid of is the vote for us and Spain(+Portugal) being split, leaving Russia to run away with it, because our bid is quite similar to the Iberian one.

No other bidding team managed to get such big names to turn up today. Big contrast between Cameron being on the stage for england, and Putin not bothering to show up for russia.

Also FIFA are such a tease - delaying the announcement by 10 minutes!
