I am not going to predict anything, England always look like they are struggling but they have won most of their games so far. Next game will be interesting if it is against Holland. I thought Lennon played great again even though he wasn't on much, we should use him more.

Well I was right with the scoreline and result, and aside from Beckham (who was ****) scoring that free-kick would have been right with Crouch coming on because later Lennon did come on and cause a few problems.
Moral of the story, if can somewhat predict how England will play, then it's easy for other teams. We never looked like scoring other than that free-kick. Had Lennon been on from the start with Rooney and Walcott up front, I can guarantee we would have had the game won by half time. England were awful.

We want to see our team give it their all and win convincingly - NOT scrape through in a lazy half arsed fashion, as if they were having a leisurely kick about in the park on a sunny afternoon.

Heh, I know, I'm chuffed to bits! As I said before, we played much more solidly today. Just annoyed about Sven in general, what manager likes being interviewed after every game being told "Well, England could have played better..." etc etc? Why's it taking him so long to figure it out?

fat Frank aint having a good tournament at all. he hasnt even looked like scoring . At least gerrard has scored and just looks the better all round player. Dont let me even get started on hargreaves. He is just dross.

It affects me becaues I personally think it's sad to sit on a computer whilst watching football. If you're not a true fan or you don't really enjoy football that much, then fair enough - no problem. But if you consider yourself a true England fan you should be watching the game properly. You should use it as an excuse to get off the PC and enjoy yourself.

Poor performance. Ashley Cole played really well and saved England a few times, Carrick did his job effectively as did Owen Hargreaves. Joe Cole had his worst game of the WC. Robinson is as dodgy as David James now, and neither Rio and Terry inspired confidence.
