World Cup Second Round - England v Ecuador **SPOILERS**

did you see Germany Vs Sweden yesterday?

Yep could have been a totally different game if Sweden didn't get a man sent off and scored that pen.

Everyone thinks Argentina will wipe the floor with us. Yet they were lucky not to go a man down and then it took a wonder goal to save them from Pens.

Overall it was pretty poor; defensively we looked dodgy in the first half, improved in the second half though. Creatively we were shocking, only created a couple of chances after we went 1 up. Individually; Carrick done well but not 100% sure he will be good enough defensively to cope with the likes of Kaka etc, Hargreaves played alright but gave away lots of freekicks which may prove costly later on, Lampard and Beckham seem to be getting worse each game (Beckham's goal is slight consulation for his performance), Joe Cole created nothing, Ashley Cole was excellent especially after how poor he played in the first 3 games and although Rooney done well, im not convinced we're going to win the world cup with him up top on his own.
But we are through and thats all that matters atm.

Robinson is a good keeper, but I think he has every reason to be a bit unsure of himself, his two centre backs haven't been as reliable as he needs them to be in any of the games so far.

^Cheers McDan :)

didnt think that was good really.

again.. we are relying on wonder goals.

if we dont get an amazing goal, we dont score.

can't wait til we play portugal/holland... prepare for ultimate tension, gut wretching tension... i got a feeling we will win but its going to be one hell of a ride to the semi's.

its becoming a choir to watch england (if thats the spelling)

I think the way Sven plays the team it's almost as if he needs a 12th man out there, and despite looking like Mr Stretch as has been well observed, that 12th man would be Crouch playing behind Rooney.

But obviously that isn't possible, so basically Sven needs to sort the bloody thing out.
