World Cup Second Round - England v Ecuador **SPOILERS**

Erm, Hargreaves was one of our better players today. Did you even watch the match?

Hargreaves was decent today, silenced a few critics I think, but as said before, he and Carra are going to struggle against Simao, and Robben (and/or Van Persie), I can see a lot of fouls ahead... hopefully few mistakes. And few cards.

It affects me becaues I personally think it's sad to sit on a computer whilst watching football. If you're not a true fan or you don't really enjoy football that much, then fair enough - no problem. But if you consider yourself a true England fan you should be watching the game properly. You should use it as an excuse to get off the PC and enjoy yourself.

I cant believe you would get annoyed by something so, well so trivial.

I really don't get all the whining on here. NO game is a walkover after the group stages did nobody see the mexico - Argentina game yesterday?

Every knockout game is going to be hardwork expecially in that kind of heat. I thought we played reasonably well. We limited Ecuador's chances (apart from silly mistakes) and we could have had a few more if we managed to get that final ball.

I saw quite a few positives, hargreaves has really shut up all his critics, carrick was superb, Rooney is starting to look dangerous again and Beckham finally managed a decent free kick.

For the love of god leave the whining for if/when we go out please

Ecuador qualified above both brazil and argentina but they have a very poor away record , still im awaiting either portugal/brazil or argentina to wipe the floor with england :D

P.s Peter crouch is a plank he looks like mr stretch

Lol, you have to let me know where your local park is, I would like to see a free game like that ;)

Seriously though, I trhink a large number of people are getting caught up in the usual over hype from the media about us winning the cup which leaves us disapointed with a win :(

Not disappointed with a win. Swap Ecuador/Sweden/even T&T for a universally agreed upon contender for the cup, say, Argentina. England wouldn't stand a chance.

Lol, it`s called multitasking ;)
How many flags have you got on your car :p

Ecuador were rubbish, worse than Paraguay, God knows how they got through their group
Once again we were marginally better than our oponents, but that's all that was needed.
Is Robinson always so timid in his area?
Feel great for Becks, quality finish & being physically sick afterwards proves what it means to him:):)

Yeah i thought Lennon did well for the time he was on, another game we scraped through, and yet again had to be saved by the crossbar, that Robinson is crap, he flaps like i dunno what, shall i go for it, no i wont, oh dear i better, to late yer muppet you've been saved by the crossbar yet again, our luck will run out in the next round, were struggling against the poorer sides, so how on earth are we gona get by the likes of Holland, Brazil, Argentina etc.... :(

What the hell is up with that Beckham, soon as he scores he starts throwing up all over the place, and is on the verge of death, we wanna hope he doesn't score in the first minute.

I think you'll find Ecuador finished third in their qualifying group. Brazil were 1st with Argentina 2nd.

Dude, why aren't you in Germany? Surely a true fan would have done anything to be watching the games in Germany live and diverting all their attention to it possible.

I wouldnt say that, he is a brilliant keepere - however he is having a bad tourney, but a few of our key players are.

Still some good footy being played though, just hope we can rise to the challenge of the super powers (Brazil, Argentina etc.)

Maybe if I didn't have exams I would. I'm not even saying I'm a hardcore fan anyway. I have much more passion for my club than I do for Sven's 'team'

Maybe, but my computer doesn't dictate my life and in reality I don't use it that often or spend much money on it.
