World first QD-OLED monitor from Dell and Samsung (34 inch Ultrawide 175hz)

What is the cheapest I can find this for now? I pressed desktop display by accident. Can someone telle how to return to mobile display?

Apparently the advantage codes work still, so if you have one of those then ~20% off.

Assuming you mean the display option on the forums then the desktop/mobile option is at the very bottom left of the page

Was slightly miffed at the stock shortage, but what are you gonna do? But now just genuinely annoyed. I ordered at 08.07, why are people going into production and getting monitors shipped when they ordered quite a few minutes later than me? Dell have no respect for that most sacred of institutions - the queue.

So weird, did they stop them and then start them again?

Dell really should be looking to employ better quality staff or at least train them better. I feel they have gone down hill in the last decade or so. When I used to buy monitors of them in the past their communication and customer service was excellent.

This one looks more like it with lights on in my room:

I hardly ever have the lights on though :D

Fantastic that some of you guys got shipped, am happy for ya! Hopefully we all get them before May 6th :)

^^

Fantastic examples showing exactly how lighting plays into these "grey blacks", would have loved for them to have had a LG oled beside them to reflect the light source  :p :D

Mine is still in production and cancel order button is still not greyed out..... but at least some form of movement, if mine hasn't shipped by Tuesday at the earliest, it won't arrive till after Easter.

Yeah. I am going to SLI them

Nah, initially it was ordered as it was the cheapest of my orders. But then I thought I might as well pass it onto someone else at a small profit to make my current monitor cheaper. I mean at end of the day people ordering now won't get theirs till what August? Also most won't be able to get a discount, so selling it for £1100 to them is fair no? I could probably get a lot more but I am not a greedy scalper :p:cry:

Dirty scalper! Suppose you have to make that £100 back somehow with missing out on the amex offer ;) :p

Haha. Yeah man, why should I miss out? :p

Interesting to see some people getting shipping notices. My order was confirmed at 08:28 and has moved to production phase. Cancel button not greyed out though, so guessing I am not going to be in this batch.

Would you mind trusting me your order number? My order was confirmed at 08:11, so if you get yours first I'm going to have a proper moan at them! Understandif you're not comfortable doing that ofc

Let's touch base when I get a shipping notification. Until then, we may just be jumping the gun. Cancel button still not greyed out, so really no idea when it will arrive. Estimated shipping is still May 5th.

Had my monitor now for a couple of weeks, it's still really good imo, and it helps that I got it for a good price.

Paid £902, Amex £100 cashback (£802), and Dell offered 10% back after delivery so another £90~ (£712) due to delay on my order. In the end around £700 paid as I got 1% on all spends via Amex as well. TCB also tracking cashback but I am not going to say that is certain so won't count it, bonus if it comes through.

My only two issues are:

See some faint vertical lines (vertical banding?) on some colours still, it's not image retention, and pixel refresh does not fix it. See them on full screen discord background for example, emphasis on faint, they're not majorly obvious but were obvious enough for me to spot them. Hard to get a picture of this on my phone camera due to how the pixels dance around a bit on the camera.

Have some marks on screen that can be seen when panel is off and you shine a torch on it.

The advisor came back to me and said Dell Advantage discount codes are still ok for this monitor.
Just checked the advantage codes and they exclude the monitor... how frustrating.

When I go to the cart, it won't accept the code either. I will try again in the morning and beg their online customer service.
