World first QD-OLED monitor from Dell and Samsung (34 inch Ultrawide 175hz)

AW3423DWF purchased in Jan this year. 1st replacement was about 2 weeks after due to the screen malfunctioning and throwing up different shades. Now I'm waiting for my 2nd replacement because the task bar has burned into the screen. I've used it almost every day and have pixel refresh turned on and have done a panel refresh since noticing the burn in. Didn't work though so Dell are sending me a new one.
Now I'm thinking if I need to do more panel refreshes with the screen as well as keeping the task bar hidden, or just sell it and by an LED monitor.
It's used for work more than gaming although I do game on it a few times a week.

Dell customer service is really amazing though. Their WhatsApp support on a Friday night got the problem resolved in about 20 or 30 mins.

Has anyone else had a replacement from Dell (I'm not reading back through this thread to check)? The first replacement I got, they collected the monitor as a handover with the new one, but this time the delivery driver said he's only delivering he's not collecting. So now I have 2 monitors......

My replacement was delivered and the collection was a different day. Although I wasn’t made aware of when it would be, just so happens I was in when they came knocking for it.

I'd personally autohide the taskbar and hide desktop icons, you get used to it after a while.

Some customer service agents have said burn-in is only covered once, so that might be something to think about.

I buy a new monitor every 9 years or so and consider myself very uninformed. But the first thing I did with this OLED was auto hide the taskbar.
