***World of Warcraft : Warlords of Draenor***

the amount of subscribers it once had would show otherwise, it's still good but not what it use to be imo.

Legion looks pretty promising, I'd rather wait and see subscribers a few months after launch than looking now when there is no content.

Subscription is always up and down, peaked pretty high at the start of WoD, I expect the same to happen in Legion.

You won't see any official data on numbers since Blizzard stopped publishing them after the numbers dropped to 5.6 million. But really, who cares about numbers if you still enjoy it. I'm giving my view of things in the end.

I just can't get past how old the game looks or how badly it runs. :(

I've never thought the game looked good, even back on release day i thought it looked a bit dated. Its one of those games thats doesnt get any less fun with worse graphics though, so i can quite happily keep all the graphics on minimum except for the ones that make spotting mechanics harder.

Did not know they stopped showing them, not currently playing as no content but will definitely be back for Legion.

Having been on the alpha and beta a lot I don't think Legion is that good to be honest. Sure it's not bad - far from it - and the artifact adds a new layer but the game feels a far more simple than even now (which is pretty basic). I think people will burn out even quicker than WoD this time round.

That's just my opinion though. I've spoke to people who prefer it but more who feel the same as I do.

Well my sub is back up and running.

Looking at finishing all the stuff I missed when I left lol :(

Asyá on Shadowsong, Blood DK is my main.

If anyone has any of these damn rep token things so I can get me flying they'd be appreciated :)

I like the quests and the general zone aesthetics.

I like the structure of the dailies but some of them seem to include random busywork for no reason i.e your mob is right at the back of a cave and we're not going to include any instructions on how to get there.

I think the classes themselves are, on the whole, a crock of old ****. Most have been so gutted they're not fun or challenging.

I'm currently desperately trying to find something to main in Legion, given that my first choice, MM hunter, is probably the worst of the lot (and i'm not talking about numbers, I mean the abilities, rotation, and synergy is all crap).

Overall the expansion could still go either way.

Yeah the zones and content are all really good actually. But my problem with it is that you're only going to do it once per character.

Sure over time people will probably level loads of characters but it's the level 110 content which I'm concerned about. I've done a bit of raid testing and the content itself was good but I just didn't enjoy the classes. I play healers, resto Druid primarily but paladin, shaman and disc priest too and each one of them I found really dull to be honest. With healing you obviously don't have a rotation per se but the lack of abilities really lowers the skill cap from its already low level.

I'm not sure if I'll play it which is annoying as I've prepaid but no point if I'm not going to enjoy it.

You might lose the names but the characters stay forever afaik.

This.

I've even heard of people getting characters that were deleted restored (primarily due to hackers using the account and it getting purged).

I've taken a name off a character before, I paid and they stripped it off an inactive rogue with no effort. :)

Have to agree with this, got a beta invite last wave and the classes are just plain boring. The story isn't up to much either imo. DK starter area is pretty dull (haven't completed it yet and don't have the desire to either) and the game feels very unpolished given its 2 months out from release. I also really dislike the 'diablofication' too.

If I was a quest or art designer i'd be pretty angry at the class designers.
