***World of Warcraft : Warlords of Draenor***

people leveling - ive hit 90 through random instances, but whats the quickest way to hit 500GS to get in warlords random instance finder? (without replacing heirlooms)

Stuck on choosing a class, damn! It's definitely between a Mage and Warrior.

I did play a DK pretty hardcore in WoTLK and Cataclysm, enjoyed the DPS and Tanking. Much easier to find groups or individuals to tag along with when you're a tank.

Mage looks fun though with this expansion.

Definitely going to roll a DH, enjoyed what I played in the Beta.

Going to take my Paladin as main, was thinking of healing end game like I used to before Mists although I'm not sure I like the new Holy mastery; the closer you are the more powerful your heals?

e: found this good little post summing it up pretty well IMO: https://gist.github.com/kura/176ce72e07abe02853ec

I like the new Mastery... it makes sense as their artifact weapon is a big 2handed hammer... get in, smack some face...heal some peeps.

All healers are being pushed in the "Do some damage as well" direction as it means they aren't just sat there watching 5-25 bars and netflix.

Will be on my DK, though a DH may become my main

^ This.

As things stand at the moment, my unholy DK will be my main for Legion - I say 'at the moment' ... us pre-purchasers get DH access next week on the 10th, so having seen one doing some quite nutty damage in a YouTube clip the other night, that intention might change ...

Still can't really take to the new enhancement shaman - prior to 7.0, mine was my go-to toon and hit like a truck - don't know what it is, but something just isn't doing it for me ...

I find a lot of people complaining about their classes now about how they aren't as powerful as before the patch and blizz have ruined them.

At 100 do you not essentially have around half of your class at present? The Artifact weapon and the abilities it brings are supposed to plug that hole so I do keep telling people to bide your time, do not judge just yet but wait till you have your artifact weapon as it should all start making sense.

That said, some classes have drastically changed, Disc priest for example and may no longer be the class someone signed up to play so I can understand the massive swings in what people now want to play. I was previously a Hunter and am now considering a priest (I swore I would never play a priest)

How are mages shaping up in legion? I've always played a mage from release, but found them struggling to keep up with DPS compared to other classes in wod. They just didn't seem to cut it for me. I quit back last year so out of the loop.

One of our Fire mages did top or top 3 DPS pretty much every fight in WoD.

Knowing class inside out / what to cast when moving / knowing spell interactions intimately / knowing the fights generally means more to DPS then the class.

Unless one is in a pro-raiding guild / every single person at the top of their skill cap and are swapping people out fight by fight. Of which I have never been a member and am happy not to be :p

Apparently Fire is once again big numbaz.

Glad to hear, fire was just about coming into it's own as I stopped. :)
