***World of Warcraft : Warlords of Draenor***

Farm mogu in the vale. Pop a potion of luck and spend 2-3 hours farming chest keys, greens and mats. Turn spirits into lotus' or ore depending on your server economy amd then attack tje auction house. I've been clearing approx 8k an hour doing this.

Urgh, it seems some stupid buff is kicking in that increases my damage about 10-20x if I attack a mob more than about 2 levels below.

Makes doing some of the quests impossible (for example where you need to damage a mob without killing it).

I thought it was only meant to kick in in old instances?

Nope, all old/lower level content. I've been trying to finish the Loremaster achievement before the expansion and it's just stupid.

Any quest where I need to capture a monster or just bring it to low health is impossible. Even when completely naked I still punch for more than their health pool.

Nobody knows that. Last week hunters were bottom of the DPS charts in PvE and now they're topping them again, and it will likely be an entirely different story again at 100.

It's especially hard to tell what will happen in PvP due to the removal of resilience and larger health pools, but lower burst damage which is what ret was really good at.

Interesting article up on Noxxic previewing level 100 dps rankings.

Monk and hunters look good across all difficulties, could be tempted to go unholy dk also looking at that table.
This is after the hotfixes that were applied specifically to nerf the massively overperforming level 90 specs.

When 6.0 went live, there was obviously massive disparity between some specs (fire mages, fury warriors, warlocks at the top; hunters dead at the bottom), but the actual tuning of the classes was relatively balanced for level 100. It wasn't perfect, and you still had certain people on the beta moaning that they weren't able to compete, but it was close to being right.

Despite how much of a joke mythic is right now, Blizzard seemed to care enough about the game feeling unfair for some players for a few weeks at 90 that they applied a round of massive nerfs to the strong classes and massive buffs to the weaker ones. This means now that everything looks more balanced in Siege of Orgrimmar than it did (though classes with great burst - that funnily enough includes fury warriors, fire mages, and warlocks - are still at the top because of the stupidly short fight times), but the way it scales at 100 is now a bit of a cluster****, as those numbers display.

TL;DR - even this late in the balancing, do not take that chart as gospel at all. Blizzard will continue balancing in WoD before they open the raids (and maybe after). Nobody needs to reroll or get in a rage because of what the numbers are currently showing.

Good to see Blizz support is still ****e after all those years. Ticket open for 15 hours now..

What? 15 hours? That is nothing... they take like 6 days. A huge patch just released with stat squishes, removal of spells and a lot of bugs, and the expansion is in like 2 weeks, surely it wouldn't surprise you that they have a lot of tickets and can't answer within an hour.

And I dread to think how many tickets are something stupid like "I can't find <removed spell> anymore, halp?" because people just don't read patch notes (or even tooltips).

Currently on 3/12 Runestones. Hopefully I can get them all this coming week (29th - 4th) then quickly move on to fighting the Celestials. Would people be up for giving me a hand with them when the time comes?

Well this is about newly prepurchased WOD and not having the option to make a boosted char

I know aint there mate hence the ticket :D

has something to do with the fact i prepurchsed wod before and refunded it. after playing wod beta i like where things are going so preordered again. They probably need to manually enable it again.

Shouldnt take 15 hours because the tickets are splitted by departments

Most classes are fairly balanced now in terms of dps, although at the bottom it seems Savagery hunters are quite a bit out, and at the top Fury Warrior and one of the lock specs is outperforming everything else fairly healthily, expect a nerf on those.

Fire mage is now very competitive, i just dinged my mage 90 yesterday, currently running around Frost spec while i get him some gear, and probably leave him that for levelling in WoD, tempted to go to Fire though for levelling as well, as it hits like a truck.

My pc specs are:

i5 4670k
8GB DDR3
280x

When I'm in 25 man raids I get FPS about 30-40FPS and the same when I'm in other crowded areas. Will it be just because of the amount of people on screen?

WoW has been around for a long time, it's still largely a single core game. 30-40 FPS sounds about right for raids etc.
