I had that happen yesterday, its a really sneaky way for them to try and reduce load.

Annoying though.
 
Still debating whether to come back and start playing properly. Played up to end of WOTLK and then I only came back on for a month at a time after.

Biggest problem I have found is finding a decent guild, my old one isn't about and there is so many guilds about that finding a good one is a pain.

May give WoD a try at the weekend as I ordered it about 3 months ago so would be pretty silly to not give it a go. Hoping the starting areas will be fine by then.
 
I liked the opening 'chapter' with Khadgar et al. Didn't feel very epic though. Straight into the garrison is good, though.

I'm in the same position. Had two cracking guilds in vanilla and tbc. Since then I've ended up with my characters spread across several servers, both horde and alliance, with no decent guild. I joined the ocuk guild on chamber of aspects which was good but it started small and rapidly got smaller until hardly anyone was signing in.

If only I could join a big, active guild with lots of banter and maybe join the odd second string raid (as I have too many commitments to dedicate loads of hours). Mostly it's just about the banter so that when I sign in for an hour to potter about I feel rewarded by doing so.
 
Funnily enough I am on Silvermoon. I may just have a look at it as I am not looking for a hardcore guild, just one that enjoys raiding and likes the banter during raiding.

Can't stand guilds that people are all dead silent and people only speak to moan at others for not doing something right.
 
Ragnaros is terrible, I was farming dungeons just to pass the time, took over 3 hours to complete 4 quests, mobs not loading/looting etc

To make things worse, I just got DC'd and now I'm 1800 in the queue.

Wouldn't trust cj's imho

as for the game, had a bit trouble actually getting on but when I did was working smoothly.
Quests however... jesus wept, huddles and huddles of people constantly AoE channelling on the spawn areas.
Made questing a little problematic, got my Garrison, dinged 91, went to bed :p

Popped on this morning to get my hunter into the new world too then had to leave for work.
New zones look pretty cool and Im really liking the new wildlife (for my hunter :p).

Hopefully dungeons will be a bit challenging again rather than the faceroll we've had in the past.
