***World of Warcraft : Warlords of Draenor***

7am this morning before work logged in on Stormscale without any problems since then couldn't login on my lunch, managed to log in after half hour stupidly I logged and then faced 90% loading screens since then 1/2 hours later im down from 5k people to 350 and 7 minutes wait which just fluctuates. Pretty appauling when most people want to jump on a game they have paid for and anticipated for many months for a few hours after work before the grind starts again.

I fail to see where I am getting emotional, could you please show me?
I just objectively stated the problems that have cropped up, and then my confusion as to how you could not have noticed other's issues seeing as the chat was blowing up with talk on the subject.

It just seems like there are a lot of people (not necessarily in these forums) white knighting Blizzard and downplaying the issues, which is a very strange stance to take. Similarly your trying to deflect my point by saying I'm getting emotional deserves a massive :rolleyes:.

Moving on, what I have played of the expansion so far has been pretty fun, and I do hope to be able to play more soon :).

I haven't played wow for 18+ months, just picked this up as I'm going to play it over the weekend with a friend.

I have every class at 85+, only 2-3 90s but I have no idea what to play this expansion. DK or ret paladin would be a good choice according to http://www.noxxic.com/wow/dps-rankings but I honestly don't know. My warrior and shaman have the best titles, if that matters.

Any advice guys? I prefer melee dps, but happy with ranged dps too. Not really a fan of healers, unless it's progressed past looking at grid the entire raid. Shaman would let me do melee dps, ranged dps or heal AND I have some sexy titles/transmog gear on it, but are shamans good in WoD?

I thought you may have been lucky, but now it seems that you're trying to downplay the issue for some reason. Things may well be going fine for you, but only a few people moaning about Garrisons? The servers almost exploded with the rage from everyone when I was able to even view it, let alone move my character.

You are there insinuating that I have some motive to downplay? Absolutely baffling. Why on earth would I and what have I to gain? I'm sorry your experience of playing seems negatively impacted by children who get involved in that crap but I too was being objective as you claim to be. I haven't argued about a computer game since I was a kid and I'm not about to start now, again, sorry you seem to tar everyone with the same brush as the rabid 'fans' who plague the chat channels, that's why I don't have any on bar Guild Chat :)

There is a 50k gold reward in my guild for the first level 100, unfortunately this won't be me as having a job gets in the way.

I have no idea what you would have to gain, but as I said it is a thing that is happening. People are claiming that there aren't any issues, blaming the computers of the people with issues, or having a go at those who dare say a bad word about the gaming dev gods that have bestowed this latest gift upon us. My play was only negatively impacted by the server issues, bugs, DC's and constant being ported back to my hearthstone location by the game when it logs me out. The whining in chat was only brought up to show that it is not an isolated problem.

I think we've derailed this thread enough, don't you? Let's move on, and if you really want to carry it on then send me a whisper or mail in game if it will let you!

It seemed from my POV you were rather angry about everything hence your accusation of me for apparently defending a video games company :confused:
Can't say I've been accused of that one before but perhaps wires have been crossed so lets move on as you say.
I know it's not isolated it's just I haven't had as much exposure to it apparently. I can only imagine what the official forums are like right now. Probably lots of melodramatic posts about how Blizzard have ruined someone's life because they only gets one night off a year to play WOW and this is it.

Same here on Auchindoun... Dammit blizz im 97, ive been awake for 30 hours putting up with dc's and lag and phasing. i just want to get my last 3 levels and go to bed for the first time in 2 nights.... please?

my Low Pop/Recommended server is full with a 35 minute queue. This is probably because people were inviting their bnet friends onto the server because theirs was full whilst ours was fine. Saw so many Silvermoon/Draenor/Kazzak players before it all went balls up.
 
Sorry to hear that, I'm back in now. It didn't fix it right away for me either but I'm in after 3 attempts following so can't say for sure.
 
In attempts to pinpoint latency related issues we’ve temporarily lowered the maximum number of people allowed in each realm. This will result in higher queue times as realms who have populations above the cap will not allow any new players in until it decreases back down below the new player cap. We’re continuing work on this and other issues impacting game latency.
