***World of Warcraft : Warlords of Draenor***

You would think on their fifth expansion Blizzard would get this right. Or at least smoother than prior expansions.

This is the WORST launch for technical issues and un-playability.

Hmm I can get into my realm and onto char select with no problems at all. It's when I hit "Enter World" my loading bar goes to 90% then I get "Character not found" and get kicked back out.

Will spamming change realm help with that?

Flush dns hasn't worked and I have tried it like 10 times. :(

probably due to forcing everyone to enter their own garrison instance in order to progress through the questline. pretty stupid tbh, it is putting ridiculous load on the servers. wish there was a way to skip the garrison quests and just get stuck in!

Oh god this. I planned my evening around smashing some levels out and I'm stuck waiting to hand in the garrison quests. :mad:
 
Just played for an hour logged straight in and not disconnected once from my main server. First hour impressiosn? Best start to an expansion since WOTLK/TBC. Everything just feels so polished and the new graphic additions and voice acting are a pleasant addition. I always said I thought there was one last great expansion in wow; is this it :)
 
I've had my first real go on wod and got to 92 on my priest leveling as disc. It's alright, but it has some massive issues at the moment and not just the technical launch failure ones. The leveling feels so damn stale and boring it's actually painful. Highly doubt I'll level an alt as I hated shadowmoon valley and the gorcrond place doesn't seem much better either :(

I gave up. The NPC wasn't even there. Tried to do another quests but the mobs were missing. Got half way through 90.

I'll have to try again tomorrow.
 
I had that earlier. The instancubg servers are being annihilated by garrisons so even doing dungeons is s complete no go at the minute :(

Best doing the bounties whilst you wait for garrison access as the give 70k xp each, so around 8/9% of your level in just the final reward.

Holy ****. didnt know that UI still existed :D Brings back memories.

Using DuffedUI meself nowadays. Slick and clean
 
Moved out of the first zone and into the 2nd and 3rd where there is no lag. Been questing with a friend, going pretty fast. Hit 95 now. Shame I couldnt have done it last night but the lag was really crappy.
 
Hmm my server just had a restart (Turalyon) and seems to be working now, garrison is all solo without billions of people.
Also my brother and I have played since the start and he's level 91 when I'm 90.7 :/.

Im still only 90, started on my DK but soon realised the guild im in is flooded with them, so swapped back to my Mage as we didnt have a single one, just got the Garrison quest last night, after about 45mins of trying to login after getting booted and the "character not found" charade i managed to get in, get my Mage through the Tanaan bit and upto the Garrison bit.

Another 25mins or so of just standing around waiting for my garrison to load with tons of INstance not found messages and bing i phased to my Garrison and handed in my quest!

So logged out at that point, tonight all going well i will begin my proper assault upon WoD, levelling and doing my Garrison at the same time. My Mage has Enchanting / Tailoring as his profs so im looking forward to those, also i noticed Archeology is availabe as well
 
Im at work mon - fri anyhow and never login til gone 7pm same at weekends if the wife gives me a pass, im a casual raider i guess, when im online i play to maximise my time. Pee's me off a bit when you do have downtime issues during the evening but thats probably to be expected with launch of an expansion, i just hope in 1 week its calmed down enough to be back to normal. Besides raids dont open for a while so plenty of time to get to 100 and get some heroics done etc.
 
How are the servers now, 12am this morning it was still bad unplayable, i have to say that was blizz worst expansion release ever in my mind, i remember cat and mist never was this bad on release day, wouldn't be so bad but we are paying to play not to try and use unplayable servers.
