I went last year (and maybe the year before I think) and it was a lot of fun. Loud, especially the F1 car, and you could get really up close to the 2009 F1 cars which was awesome. They're surprisingly small! There's a lot else to do besides, but yeah, the crowd isn't like your usual gang at motorsport events, but it shouldn't detract from the day much.

If you can, bring a Thermos of tea as well, you won't regret it!

Not as such, no. Various members are meeting up and camping together but then we meet up outside of the forums anyway.
