World War Z

Meh it was generic but serviceable, I would hate to pay to see that. Main issue for me was that the scale and the constant 'epicness' of it made me feel less for any of the characters, they really should have spilt that up more so it was a bit more about survival. The best bit about this film is that I was eager to get home and play TLoU!

Also saw Snitch and that wasnt much better.

another thing that urked me was;

Seeing as the Isrealies were so organized and managed to build their defenses before the epidemic broke out they were completely clueless about Zack's sensitivity to sound. So lets let all the refugees break into song and attract the zeds and why were there no watch towers on this wall?!

Another thing (im really picking holes now) how did the buses and refugees get into the tunnels that lead into the fortress Isreal?

hmm , read the book was EPIC
Film not so epic , fast zombies on speed , were not as good as the ones in the book

It pretty much has little or no content from the very good book in it

Went to see it on Friday, thought it was really good. A lot different from your normal zombie films, I much prefer them type of zombies to your Shaun Of The Dead and Walking Dead ones.

Total rubbish. That third act was the worst though. You could easily tell Damon Lindelof wrote it.

The book is utterly fantastic and I've read it twice in the last few years. That's rare for me.

I saw the film tonight and I would give it 6 out of 10. It was ok for a few hours entertainment but really it has little to do with the book and the last half of the film is disappointing. I was pretty sure it wouldn't deliver but wanted to see it because the book is so good. I don't regret seeing it as it was an ok film to while away a couple of hours but it wasn't that memorable really.

Seen the movie last night it was alright more like a global adventure than zombie flick.

As for peoples problem with the 4 prop aircraft from an aircraft carrier

It can be done (USS Forrestal)

I was going to say!

I saw it last night. I treated it as nothing to do with the book and yea, enjoyed it really. Pretty solid, 6.5/7 out of 10.
