Huge set of storms ripping across the USA right now, especially through Illinois and Ohio is next.
I don't think I've seen this many supercells lined up one after the other, all in isolation. We may read about this in tomorrows news:
Multiple reports of tornados on the ground, hail from 1 - 2.5 inches in diameter and damaging winds up to 60-70 mph.

These storms above are meant to roll through our area later on this afternoon / this evening. Expecting some strong winds and buckets of rain, fingers crossed we don't get any tornadoes!!

Our State has a 9/10 on the Tor:Con index (as mentioned by the weather channel update, they never really give out 9's

Pretty much the whole state of IL, from north to south, was covered in tornado warnings. The worst seems to have passed Chicago now.

More tornados incoming, confirmed near Cairo IL and the NFL game between the Ravens and the Bears was suspended.
Very rare that the USA gets a high risk warning, especially that far north and at this time of year. Once these storms line up together the tornado potential will diminish but straight line wind speeds will be very high.

Yeah am in Chicago atm, things were pretty violent like an hour ago... I even got emergency alert on my iphone lol..
I am happy that didnt go to bears game, I would hate to be on soldier field when this poo was breaking loose.
But yeah, its all cool now... Its the suburbs that get all the damage, down-town city is pretty safe apart from very heavy rain and winds.
Gotta give it to news channels, they were doing a fab job... Non-stop non interrupted live broadcast of the situation.

NFL game in Cincinatti going on right now, late in the 4th but there are tornado warned cells heading right that way.

theres so much interest by storm chasers that curfew 8 pm to 6 am been issued.

Dodged a bullet with these storms. Looked like they were going to hit us, but in the end they went SE and we just caught some strong winds and a few rumbles of thunder. Pretty shocking for November, that's for sure
