WORLD WEATHER THREAD

Getting some bad winds here in the midlands....Very bad...

BANG: look out of window and trampoline as smashed into fence....All bins are all over the road, litter everywhere.

Hope it buggers off before tomorrow.

Missed me by about 10 feet as it came down about an hour ago, not good in a soft top car

Interesting morning at work this morning. Multiple go-arounds and diversions. One aircraft got struck by lightning before diverting to Newcastle. Seen gusts of up to 60kts at one point.

Was pretty damn rough up here this morning, wind was strong enough this morning that I could barely walk the dog. Lots of roads closed, nearly all the bridges shut and as you'll have seen the entire rail network was shut (only a couple of lines now reopened as of 14:00).

Hundreds of trees are down, and we've also had snow along with really heavy intense rainfall.

Flood sirens keep going off it seems were going to be hit by a large tidal surge this evening and much of Grimsby may well be flooded. My postcode has a flood warning due to how close to a river we live. May begin bringing stuff upstairs soon

Ok, so this lovely Mid-West weather continues:
Yesterday it was 70 degrees!
Tonight it will be 19 degrees!
7-11"s of snow predicted for tomorrow. .75-1" of frozen rain predicted for Sunday and then Tuesday will be bone cold at 8 degrees!!
