Worst Game of the Year 2015 - WGOTY!

Nothing I bought was bad, however has to be Hardline or Battlefront from reports. Shame to see Dice going the way we all knew they would when EA bought them (I know Hardline was outsourced but still).
 
Battlefront and Arkham for me.

Arkham was just dire in every way possible.

battlefront stings the most as it was decent enough to start with but i find myself just trying to play it to justify the cost now.
 
Not really played any bad games. Tempted to say Fifa 16 but then noticed I have played it for nearly 200 hours.......cant be that bad......

DICE are doing fine. Like you said, Hardline was not developed by DICE so I dont know how that's the least bit relevant. Battlefront may not be what some of the more hardcore players wanted, but it was always meant to be a more casual-based game, being Star Wars and all. BF3 and BF4 were great, though. Mirror's Edge is coming up and looking pretty hot. And then we'll probably have BF5 by end of next year. Not really seeing it, sorry.
 
besides the obvious Hardline and Battlefront from reports (and Arkham Knight), I think Sword Coast Legends was a massive let down. Seeing it on sale 50% off already pretty much tells the story for me.

For 2015 equivalents of games that bad, take a look at "The Nerd³ Awards! Steaming Poop Games of 2015". I would embed it but there's a bunch of (well deserved) swearies.

I haven't bought any really bad games this year, so instead I will nominate some games that look to have completely ruined what used to be good franchises.

1. Tony Hawks Pro Skater 5
2. Roller-coaster Tycoon World
3. Star wars Battlefront
 
I think SW Battlefront has received fairly mixed feedback and though i don't have experience in playing the game, i feel there are titles which better deserve the award.

Battlefront is about as polished as a **** can get - but it's still fundamentally a ****.
 
Hardline for me, it stunk so badly that I didn't bother with Battlefront, its a shame what's happening to the BF series, I still play BF4 very regularly though and really hope BF5 improves on the real BF games, I shudder at the thought of no dedicated servers being announced
